THOR Solutions is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to provide full-time technical and professional support services at theMid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC)in Norfolk, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award, anticipated for September 2026. Typical Responsibilities: Review contract work specifications to ensure quality requirements are specified. Develop and execute product and process surveillance/inspection/audit plans, record results, and draft formal feedback to contractor's quality organizations. Maintain a database of results. Develop and maintain matrices, graphs, metrics, and written reports using common computer software such as Microsoft Suite and U.S. Navy proprietary software programs. Location:Onsite at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA. Typical Physical Activity:Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g. confined spaces, ladders, hatches), or vision. Typical Pay Range:The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $80,000 - $95,000/year. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience. Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position. A candidate without a clearance but with highly relevant experience may be considered, but still must obtain a clearance prior to hire. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, systems engineering, or statistical application. A degree can be substituted with five (5) years' practical experience in quality engineering, systems engineering, or statistical application. At least five (5) years of experience performing work specification review in accordance with Joint Fleet Maintenance 4E specification and NAVSEA Standard Items.
