City of Hope Medical Group Seeks a Medical Director of Integrative Oncology to Join Our Growing Team

City of Hope is seeking a visionary Medical Director in Integrative Oncology to lead the continued growth and expansion of the Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology. Based in Southern California, this physician leader will help shape the future of evidence-based, whole-person cancer care by advancing innovative clinical programs, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and integrating research, education, and patient care. Position Highlights:

The successful candidate will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with our diverse and nationally recognized team of physicians at City of Hope and will serve as the Medical Director for the Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology. This physician leadership role is vital to advancing the clinical mission of the Cherng Family Center by developing and expanding access to evidence-based integrative oncology care, innovating and enhancing patient outcomes, and helping establish a new standard of whole-person cancer care. The Medical Director will serve as a clinical leader, innovator, collaborator, overseeing the growth, quality, and integration of integrative oncology services across City of Hope system. Working closely with research and education leadership, the Medical Director will develop innovative multidisciplinary care models, mentor clinical providers and health professionals, and foster collaborations that translate scientific discoveries into exceptional patient care while positioning the Cherng Family Center as a national and global leader in integrative oncology.

Salary Range: $275k - $425k -The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified physician; California licensure eligible.

  • Physician with sub-specialty, postgraduate and leadership experience with integrative oncology clinical programs.

  • Proven multidisciplinary clinical program development experience.

  • Commitment to evidence-based, whole-person cancer care.

  • Ideal candidates will be individuals in active medical oncology or hematology practice, with consideration for supportive care or medicine specialties as well (e.g. palliative care).

  • Associate Professor or Professor appointment preferred.
