JOB TITLE: Team Lead

DEPARTMENT: Service and Export Parts

REPORTS TO: Service and Export Parts Supervisor

MAJOR FUNCTION

Responsible for leading and coordinating the daily Service & Export Parts operations to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, shipped on time, and in compliance with company procedures while supporting safety, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports supervisor on managing activity/workflow related to Service/Exports
  • Monitors workflow and adjust staffing as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure all priority orders are completed and shipped on the same day.
  • Communicate any known deficiencies in order fulfillment to supervisor.
  • Responsible for printing, organizing, and distributing workload to the team.
  • Supports supervisor on planning work schedule to meet customer ship dates.
  • Ensure that all the required documentation and computer entries are completed accurately to meet Service/Exports shipping schedules.
  • Track productivity and communicate daily goals and expectations to the team.
  • Provide training and support to employees in the warehouse processes.
  • Assist with problem-solving and escalation of operational issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to effectively direct activities of subordinate associates.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management.
  • Must possess excellent personal drive with a passion for exceeding customer fulfillment levels.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations creatively
  • Positive team engagement and communication.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standard drug-screen, breath alcohol, and physical.

Pay Range $17.50-$21.88 per hour.

The estimated range indicates the expected hourly pay for this position. It does not include potential bonus incentives such annual or performance bonus' as well as sales and sales related incentives, or overtime. The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, differentials, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
