Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues through phone, email, and chat. This role begins with an onboarding and training period focused on order entry before expanding to customer communications and product support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities



  • Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP system with minimal errors.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide effective solutions with the goal of resolving customer issues in a single interaction whenever possible.
  • Process reports to identify and resolve customer orders that are on hold.
  • Assist customers with order status, product information, and general inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Follow established customer service policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Escalate complex customer concerns as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude in all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing work experience in customer service, retail, call center, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience with data entry or the ability to quickly learn and accurately process high volumes of information preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook and Microsoft Teams, preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and respond to changing business priorities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn ERP systems and other business applications.
  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and provide technical customer support over time.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED required.
