The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $127,125 - $175,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications: This is What You Will Do in this Role:
  • Own and define the global Product Quality strategy, aligned to enterprise goals, and ensure execution across all regions and product lines.

  • Establish global quality standards, governance models, and performance frameworks, holding regions and functions accountable to compliance and outcomes.

  • Accountable for reducing cost of poor quality, improving margin, protecting revenue through defect prevention, and improving customer happiness at scale.

  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on product risk, quality investment decisions, and strategic tradeoffs. Represent Product Quality in executive reviews, major customer engagements, and external audits.

  • Build and evolve the Product Quality organization, including talent strategy, succession planning, and leadership development to support future business growth.

  • Develop a culture passionate about preventing issues, delivering excellence, and driving teamwork.

  • Successfully define workflows, reporting relationships, processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to get results and meet the global quality and regional team targets.

  • Develop and manage the budget, resource plan, and business plans in conjunction with the Global Department Leader.

  • Ensure outstanding quality and continuous improvement across suppliers, operations, manufacturing, customers, projects, management systems, etc.

  • Monitor, report, and present key results and challenges to Quality executives. Recognize trends to gauge current and future performance. Acquire optimum efficiency within the region to prepare strategic plans.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and project groups across our business to support partners and guarantee timely delivery of new products that meet our quality standards and criteria.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve the most complex quality problems within multi-department areas and present solutions to internal collaborators and Dematic customers.

  • Drive process measurement initiatives, including scorecards and other metrics, which can also be used to drive process improvements.

  • Share guidelines across the team and greater organization.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Preferred 10+ years of relevant Quality experience.

  • Preferred 5+ years of leadership experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership capabilities must align with Dematic and KION Core Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, and Excellence.

  • Experience directing the quality of multiple sizable and complicated projects within a rapidly changing environment.

  • Experience in developing ISO compliant globally coordinated Quality Systems.

  • Relevant experience in the use of improvement tools such as Lean, SS, 5S, Value Stream/Process Mapping, Kaizen, Development of Experiments and/or other similar tools.

  • Proven experience driving an effective corrective action system.

  • Ability to travel approximately 25-35%.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with equivalent experience considered. Preference given to candidates with a Master's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • ASQ and /or PMP certifications is a plus.
