Sales Representative

Primary Responsibilities Sales Representative:

Supports designated sales territories and customer accounts while developing commercial, technical, and relationship-management skills.

  • Territory will include transactional and strategic accounts.

  • Assists in identifying growth opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.

  • Works with Market Team to support customer growth initiatives and business-development activities.
  • Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required For The Sales Representative:

  • Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or a related discipline.

  • 0-2 years of sales/relationship management experience.

Preferred For The Sales Representative:

  • Flexibility when faced with frequently changing priorities.

  • Strong goal and results orientation; high energy.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to utilize knowledge of systems and processes to optimize workflow.

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.

  • Effectiveness with multiple information systems, both mainframe and PC-based.

  • Strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills; demonstrates candor and an openness to viewpoints of others.

  • Willingness to offer a dissenting viewpoint during group decision making.

  • Professional business writing skills.

  • Customer service orientation.

  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and arrive at good business decisions.
