Job Description




As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or maintain access logs to help support authorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, control points, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions that may vary throughout the location.
  • Assist with screening vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries entering the property while following established post orders and reporting discrepancies or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
