Job Title: Selector I

Location: Boise, ID 83716

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: Sunday - Friday, 5 days per week (Friday is overtime if requested) Hours: 5:30pm to 2:00 am with hour lunch unpaid (sometimes until 5:00 AM depending on workload)

Interviews will be in person and will ONLY be scheduled: Interview times: Mon thru Thursday between 4 pm and 7 pm. All interviews will be scheduled through Fieldglass.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience
  • RF scanner experience (handheld arm scanner, not headset)
  • Order picking and packing experience



Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2-3 year relevant work experience
  • Frequently lift 10-75 lbs (up to 100 lbs)
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches
  • Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelves
  • Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer)
  • Stand and work on feet for 10-12 hours daily


Preferred Requirements:

  • 1 year experience operating an Ride on - electric pallet jack or forklift
  • 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience
  • 1 year selection experience
  • 2 years consistent work history preferred



Responsibilities:

  • Work in Client's warehouse and play a vital role in the foodservice supply chain.
  • Warehouse Selectors are responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods, including shipping and receiving, warehousing, order filling, picking, and packing.



Additional duties:

  • Inventory control and records management, dispatch, developing transport schedules, methods, and routes, analyzing and projecting transportation costs, coordinating customs clearances and permits, maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles, and evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers such as fuel suppliers and trucking/shipping companies.
  • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles may also be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • This is an active, physical role that requires operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders, and working in areas with temperature and humidity variations (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).
