This position reports to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities: Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship to a team of UI engineers, fostering growth and professional developmentwithin the UI skill community Champion the vision and execution of the Dragos Platform User Interface. Collaborate closely with Tech Leads and Product Managers to define and deliver an optimal user experience across several different product teams Foster a strong technical community by developing close relationships amongst Engineering Managers. Establish and drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies. Provide technical input/insight during software design, development, testing, and release. Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and balancing technical debt and innovation. Ensure support for fielded production deployments. Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Cybersecurity experience 7+ years of meaningful engineering management experience building, developing, andleading highly effective teams Prior experience as a UI engineer with strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and JavaScript libraries like React and Redux.
