Build your career while delivering impactful projects. We're seeking a motivated Geotechnical Project Engineer to lead and support a diverse range of projects across public works, transportation, commercial, energy, industrial, and communications markets.

In this role, you'll perform and oversee geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, design recommendations, project planning, reporting, and construction observation. You'll collaborate directly with clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from proposal through completion.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute geotechnical engineering projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and perform field investigations, engineering analyses, and design recommendations.
  • Prepare and review proposals, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance.
  • Analyze laboratory and field data and incorporate findings into technical reports.
  • Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to clients and project teams.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff.
  • Support business development efforts, including client relationship management and proposal preparation.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 4-9 years of relevant geotechnical experience
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse team members
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
