JOB SUMMARY: The ReHire Colorado - General Office position combines wage-paid work, job skills training, and supportive services to help individuals facing barriers to employment in the workforce. This is a government-funded transitional jobs program that was created to connect qualified job seekers with quality full-time employment opportunities. This program is 11-weeks of subsidized wages, 30-hours a week (24-hours at the site, 6-hours on Friday (Professional Friday) with the ReHire team). Professional Friday with the ReHire team focuses on resume writing, interview skills, soft skills, and professionalism. The Job Developer checks in on the participant and the host site supervisor to ensure the participant is meeting the expectations of the job description. Bi-weekly performance evaluations are completed by the host site to give constructive feedback to the participants. This program bolsters our local economy by allowing individuals on public support to become self-sufficient. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
