Summary: The Contracts and Catalog Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the Contracts Department and other internal departments through contract administration, quotation support, catalog updates, and data management activities. This position ensures accurate contract records, timely report submissions and maintenance of government product catalogs.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Generate customer quotes and support responsibilities within Inside Sales for BMC software and other house accounts managed by the Contracts Department.
- Create and maintain contract files and contractual documentation.
- Submit contract-related reports and work with other departmental employees to resolve issues.
- Maintain and update government product catalogs, ensuring accuracy of pricing, products, descriptions, and contract information.
- Coordinate catalog updates, modifications, and product additions/removals in accordance with contract requirements and company procedures.
- Monitor catalog compliance and verify that published catalog information aligns with awarded contract terms and approved pricing.
- Support contract renewals, modifications and administrative updates as required.
- Assist with data management and reporting activities related to contracts, pricing, and catalog administration.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Candidates will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics training provided by Four Points.
- Candidates will review, acknowledge and participate in any US government and regulatory security training periodically as required in their role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while managing large amounts of contract and catalog data.
Education/Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience and/or training and some college
- Federal Government and/or VAR (value-added reseller) experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
