This leader oversees all inpatient rehabilitation and therapy operations, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and the inpatient rehab unit, with responsibility for approximately 39 FTEs. -
The role is focused on operational excellence, service line growth, patient outcomes, and leading future expansion initiatives, including planned rehabilitation unit enhancements.
Responsibilities
- The Director reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and has overall responsibility for the Inpatient Rehabilitation service line and all of its locations.
- Responsibilities include oversight and management of all clinical and non-clinical associates as well as any dedicated marketing personnel.
- Additional responsibilites include budgeting, development and implementation of operational standards, policies and procedures, development of process improvement systems, and program development.
- Optimization is expected in volumes, quality and efficiency.
- Development of the service line as a single brand recognized in the community for high-quality service which is the primary goal.
- The Director will be a member of the Leadership Team of St. Francis Health and will work collaboratively to ensure integration of all aspects of the program with the overall strategic goals of the organizaiton.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy OR Business/Health Administration or related field if clinical discipline is Athletic Training.
- Licensed as a RN, PT/OT, SP Therapist or Certified as Athletic Trainer
- Minimum five (5) years experience as a clinical professional in rehabilitation setting.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years experience as a manager or director in a rehabilitation setting.
- Masters or Doctorate
- Experience in direct employer relationships, managed care, occupational medicine, workers' compensation.
