Description

Primary Purpose:

This position is primarily responsible for greeting and assisting employees, guests and members; monitoring employee overdrafts; coordinating the employee off-boarding processes; coordinates Workers Compensation program; provides other administrative and HR process ownership support.

This role requires in-office work to effectively support system infrastructure, real-time issue resolution, and coordination with cross-functional teams and employee partners.

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $50,000 to $60,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Greets employees, guests, members at the front desk and properly assists and directs each.
  • Monitors employee overdrafts and take appropriate follow-through and actions.
  • Assists employees with their employee account status and related account changes.
  • Coordinates the off-boarding processes of Towne employees.
  • Coordinates Workers Compensation program and processes.
  • Coordinates companywide compliance of Labor Law posters.
  • Supports revisions and maintenance of the HR pages on the company's Intranet (TowneConnect).
  • Provides administrative support to HR Advisory and other areas of Human Resources.
  • Provides break and lunch coverage support for the building Receptionist.
  • Orders supplies, sorts mail and distributes to appropriate team members.
  • Participates in and supports various Human Resources projects.
  • Accountable for the understanding of and adherence to operational controls, policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Human Resources and bank policies and related laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.



Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) with the ability to learn other job specific software applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.
  • Knowledge of financial institution platform systems and ability to research and pull data from the systems.
  • Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating into current and future responsibilities.
  • Ability to anticipate, monitor, and meet the needs of customers (internal and external) and respond in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and have positive relationships with customers (internal and external).
  • Possesses and demonstrates the drive to work towards a standard of excellence

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent knowledge, experience, training from working in a human resources environment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a Financial institution dealing with member/customer account information and research.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure consistent and compliant practices.
  • Experience support or working in a Human Resources department (preferred)
  • Experience working with an HRIS ( preferred)


Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
