Essential Job Duties	The Fisheries Research Scholar will analyze and interpret previously collected telemetry-tag data on reef fishes within a fine-scale positioning study. Additionally, the research scholar will write manuscripts on the results of these analyses for the peer-reviewed literature.

Minimum Experience/Education	Ph.D. (or relevant terminal degree), or Relevant Master's degree with at least 5 years of formal postdegree professional work experience
Department Required Skills	Experience analyzing acoustic telemetry data from marine or freshwater fish populations Experience using Innovasea FATHOM software for two-dimensional fish positioning Experience visualizing and interpreting three-dimensional movement data from telemetry-tagged fish Demonstrated proficiency programming in R Experience developing Bayesian multistate models for simulation and parameter estimation Knowledge of fisheries ecology, movement ecology, and population dynamics Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience analyzing fisheries data and writing and publishing peer-reviewed manuscript
