| Essential Job Duties |
The Research Technician will support the lab's research and operational activities through data analysis, report preparation, plant care, and general research assistance. The position requires a dependable, organized individual who can work independently and collaboratively while contributing to the mission and priorities of the lab.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize, review, and analyze research data using appropriate software and established procedures.
- Prepare reports, summaries, tables, figures, and other materials that communicate research findings.
- Maintain accurate and complete research records, files, and documentation.
- Assist with routine plant care and maintenance, including watering, monitoring plant health, cleaning work areas, and other activities as assigned.
- Provide organizational support for lab projects and activities.
- Complete additional duties that support the lab's mission, research objectives, and day-to-day operations.
- Follow all applicable laboratory, greenhouse, workplace safety, and university procedures.
