About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Senior Category Manager to own our Technology Professional Services category end-to-end. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a practitioner who combines deep market expertise in Tech Services with the executive presence and relationship skills to serve as a true strategic partner to the business. You will be the go-to authority on best practices, structure and negotiate complex, multi-phased Technology Services agreements, and drive the full sourcing and category management lifecycle - from strategy through supplier performance. The right candidate is simultaneously a credible thought leader and a hands-on executor: someone who can walk into a room with a CIO or a SVP of Technology, earn their trust, and then translate that partnership into measurable sourcing value. What Success Looks Like In your first 90 days: You have mapped the category, established key stakeholder relationships, and developed a prioritized pipeline of sourcing initiatives with clear value estimates. In your first year: You are seen as the indispensable go-to partner for Technology Professional Services across the enterprise. You have closed meaningful agreements, delivered measurable savings, and elevated the quality and rigor of how the organization buys Tech Services. Ongoing: You are a thought leader inside and outside the team. Your category strategy is forward-looking, your supplier relationships are valued assets, and your stakeholders actively pull you in early on new initiatives. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
