Under the general supervision, this position works in post award research administration to independently manage research awards and transactions related to contract and grant management, and maintain contract and grant records in compliance with institutional research sponsor policies. Additionally, the incumbent performs full award administration, and analytical and strategic reporting for a multi-PI proposal portfolio. This position requires exceptional customer service skills. Assignments include multiple PIs, multiple funding sources, multiple institutions, and multiple sites. Manages research awards of diverse scope where analysis of data requires thorough understanding of complex regulations and requirements. Completes and approves transactions for signature by manager or other authorized institutional official. Comprehensive post award management includes using strong analytical skills for allocation and expense monitoring, understanding of agency-specific requirements, detailed and timely reporting, and advisement to faculty.
