Learn more at www.cpicardgroup.com The Shipping, Receiving and Audit Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Shipping, Receiving and Audit departments to ensure the safe, secure, accurate and timely movement of materials and finished goods. This role oversees team performance, inventory control, shipment documentation, packaging material availability, equipment readiness, and compliance with company, customer, safety and security requirements. The manager partners closely with Scheduling, Production, Logistics, Procurement and Maintenance to support operational priorities, resolve issues and maintain efficient workflow across assigned areas.
Responsibilities
Oversees daily Shipping, Receiving and Audit operations to ensure materials, card products and finished goods are counted, packaged, received, shipped and audited accurately, securely and on schedule.
- Allocates labor, equipment and other resources based on shipment schedules, production priorities and departmental needs.
- Ensures all shipping, audit and inventory documentation is complete, accurate and properly maintained, including final count tickets, card destruction logs, packing lists, bills of lading and related records.
- Manages finished goods and raw goods inventory processes, including pull ticket shipments, allocations, adjustments, monthly counts, discrepancy reconciliation and timely routing of count support for approval.
- Ensures the card destruction process is followed, including maintenance of the ScrapTrack database and resolution of discrepancies.
- Coordinates secure and non-secure freight pickups in alignment with shipment schedules, including arranging off-hours coverage and escalating staffing concerns as needed.
- Partners with Scheduling, Production, Procurement, Logistics and Maintenance to ensure materials, packaging supplies, equipment and staffing are available to support operational requirements.
- Supports safe and efficient equipment operation by coordinating preventive maintenance, required inspections, employee training and retraining, and follow-up with Maintenance as needed.
- Leads, coaches and develops Shipping, Receiving and Audit leads and operators through regular one-on-one meetings, performance feedback, training, corrective action and annual performance reviews.
- Completes payroll, monitors attendance and ensures appropriate staffing coverage to meet business needs.
- Maintains expected productivity, quality, accuracy, safety, cleanliness and security standards across assigned work areas.
- Ensures compliance with CPI, PCI, customer-mandated, operational, safety and security procedures and requirements while modeling respectful, professional and collaborative behavior.
- This position operates with moderate latitude in managing daily Shipping, Receiving and Audit activities, including prioritizing work, assigning resources, resolving routine operational issues and ensuring compliance with established procedures, safety standards and customer requirements.
- The role makes day-to-day decisions related to staffing coverage, workflow, inventory reconciliation, shipment readiness, documentation accuracy, equipment needs and escalation of issues that may affect production schedules, customer commitments, security or compliance.
- Decisions with significant business, financial, customer, employee relations or policy implications are escalated to the manager or appropriate functional leader for review and approval.
- This position supervises Shipping, Receiving and Audit leads and operators and is accountable for coordinating daily work activities, staffing coverage, performance expectations, training, safety, security and operational execution across assigned areas.
- The role does not have direct budget responsibility; however, it influences labor utilization, overtime, material flow, packaging supply usage, equipment readiness, inventory accuracy and shipment performance.
- The position supports the accurate and timely movement, receipt, shipment, audit and reconciliation of materials, card products and finished goods and ensures related documentation, counts and compliance requirements are completed in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements and applicable safety and security standards.
This is an onsite position in Littleton, CO. Pay range depending on experience: $82,000- 106,000k plus onus potential
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
- Ability to lead and work effectively with a diverse workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to set expectations, coach employees, motivate teams and address performance or conflict issues appropriately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage competing deadlines and adjust to changing operational needs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in inventory, documentation, audit and shipment related activities.
- Strong commitment to safety, security, quality and compliance requirements.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, evaluate options and support timely resolution.
- Experience using an ERP system, warehouse management system or similar operational software preferred.
Requirements:
- 5+ years card manufacturing experience required
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Ability or willingness to learn how to operate motorized pallet-jacks and forklifts required

- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods throughout the work shift, including movement between production lines, warehouse areas, and equipment locations.
- Regular use of hands and arms to handle, grasp, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate tools, materials, equipment, and finished products.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, twist, and work in confined or awkward positions while performing operational or maintenance activities.
