As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in PHILADELPHIA, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors while providing clear communication and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, studios, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and campus activity; verify authorized access in accordance with site-specific procedures; and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing directions, assisting with visitor inquiries, and reporting maintenance hazards or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
