Position Summary

Location/Shift: Assembly Plant, 3rd Shift, Full Time

Reports to: Shift Supervisor & Maintenance Manager

Job Type: Hourly Position

The position will be posted until 08/05/2026, please provide a paper copy of internal application to Tracy, HR.

Position Duties:

  • General knowledge of TPM practices. This includes supporting positive partnerships with all departments within the enterprise to achieve common goals.
  • Work closely with operations to track downtime, major and minor equipment issues, problem solve and follow-up ensuring resolution.
  • Assist engineering with the integration and upkeep of process controls, including all types of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
  • Execute small-moderately sized projects likely involving equipment moves, facility upgrades and new equipment installations.
  • Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and work with others to create proposals including basic cost/benefit analysis.

  • Able to work independently toward general results, devise methods and procedures to meet unusual conditions necessitating a high degree of ingenuity, initiative and judgement on day-to-day jobs.
  • Ensure compliance to safe practices, OSHA regulations, and environmental agencies.

  • Perform structural and sheet metal work, concrete and masonry work, rough carpentry, pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, welding, etc. incidental to operations.

  • Maintain buildings which include the repair of windows, doors, roof, floors, stairways, light fixtures, etc.; constructs shop partitions, bins, racks, pallets, shipping crates, etc.

  • All employees are required to keep their area clean and maintained to a high degree of quality and safety for themselves and co-workers.

  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Leader.

  • Is expected to abide by all plant safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is required, electromechanical degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years of maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Journeyman certification or pursuit of certificate is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with LOTO procedures.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours is required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Understand and complies with ISO and OSHA procedures and requirements.
  • Must have a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Able to effectively work with people in a team environment.
  • Able to be organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Welding certificate or other certification or evidence of fabrication skills.
