Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and repair documentation. Technical training, trade school certification, or maintenance-related education is preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and production equipment. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools. Experience with PLC troubleshooting, conveyors, packaging equipment, automated systems, welding, or fabrication is a plus. Forklift certification preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving machinery. Ability to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots. Job Duties Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Repair and maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial machinery. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues before failures occur. Respond to machine breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to keep production running efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings. Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation accurately. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
