Project Manager - Fleet Camera Technology Implementation
Role Focus

Lead a large-scale commercial fleet camera technology transition from a legacy solution to a new AI-powered platform across the US and Canada. Own deployment planning, vendor coordination, cross-functional alignment, change management, operational enablement, and strategic safety initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities
Technology Deployment & Vendor Management

  • Develop and execute the end-to-end implementation plan with the technology vendor.
  • Manage distributed deployment of fleet camera hardware across the US and Canada.
  • Coordinate installation schedules, resources, dependencies, and regional priorities.
  • Develop rollout strategies based on fleet adoption of legacy camera technology.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and project dependencies through implementation.


Cross-Functional Program Leadership

  • Coordinate with Legal, Labor, HR, IT Security, Procurement, Safety, Operations, Logistics, and technology stakeholders.
  • Resolve regulatory, labor, operational, and organizational constraints that could impact deployment.
  • Serve as the primary program liaison between operational teams, drivers, vendors, and corporate technology leadership.
  • Coordinate contractual and security requirements to support timely vendor implementation.


Change Management & Program Enablement

  • Develop and execute internal communications and change-management strategies.
  • Create training materials, operating procedures, policies, and program documentation.
  • Establish operational readiness requirements and performance targets.
  • Drive stakeholder adoption and ensure teams are prepared for technology and process changes.


Control Tower & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support transition to a future-state Control Tower capable of real-time intervention for high-risk driving events.
  • Coordinate execution of Control Tower initiatives and associated workstreams.
  • Support strategic roadmap development for Blind Spot Information Systems (BSIS).
  • Track long-term deployment objectives and technology adoption across commercial vehicles.


Project Management Expectations

  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
  • Manage resources, vendors, procurement activities, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks, blockers, dependencies, and implementation constraints.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear status reporting to executives and stakeholders.
  • Manage quality assurance and validate deliverables against requirements.
  • Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining operational continuity and safety standards.
