Inside the Role

The Pre-Paint Cab Body Station team member plays a critical role in preparing truck cabs for the paint process at the Mount Holly Truck Plant. The ideal candidate takes pride in attention to detail, works well in a team environment, and understands that a quality paint finish starts with proper preparation.

Requirements:

  • Must be qualified to do Heavy Repairs and finish body work.
  • Must be qualified to mix Primer according to supplier recommendations.
  • Must be able to maintain repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to meet and maintained production tack time requirements.
  • Must be able to read drawings to use drill templates and locate fixtures.
  • Must be able to read and understand SWI & JES.
  • Must be able to access and follow Standard Work Instructions
  • Must be able to use required hand tools.
  • Must be able to use supplied power tools in assigned task assembly.
  • Be able to measure by both standard and metric units.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with others.
