This position is responsible for coordinating quality control processes to ensure Sherwin-Williams products meet quality specifications. This position performs routine complaint analysis which includes retain & field sample testing, direct communication with customers, non-conformance management and identifies root cause analysis through the Accelerated Root Cause (ARC) process.

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

  • Support shift setup, including scheduling and planning
  • Assist the Plant Quality Manager (PQM) with compliance and initiatives
  • Review all problem batches
  • Use root cause analysis/investigation (Accelerated Root Cause [ARC] process to support Plant Quality Manager (PQM) in complaint investigation and corrective action
  • Comply with all site safety procedures and identify safety improvements
  • Evaluate and provide resolution of in-process and finished goods
  • Schedule and perform internal quality and package appearance audits
  • Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have an associate degree or higher in chemistry
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, quality control/assurance lab or an R&D role
