Equipment Mechanic (Catoosa, OK.)

Job Summary

The Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and managing tools and equipment. This role ensures that all heavy industrial construction equipment is safe, operational, and readily available to support project needs.

Typical Duties

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical issues on equipment and machinery.
• Maintains required inventory levels.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy.
• Inspects, repairs tools & equipment, as required
• Orders replacement parts, tools and maintenance supplies.
• Assists with repairs of fabrication equipment.
• Maintains a repair and maintenance log for company owned equipment.
• Maintains safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience repairing and maintenance of heavy industrial construction equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems.
• Knowledge of industrial tools, fabrication equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to calibrate and follow inspection procedures.
• Ability to work well with and support internal customers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Occasional travel might be required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination and ability to maintain balance.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Use of hand tools such as hammers, knives or wrenches.
• Visual ability to include color vision and depth perception.
• Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.
• Perform all duties while wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hat, and gloves.
• Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within company designated drug consortium.
