| Job Description |
ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness is seeking several Recreation Service Attendants.
Become a part of our dedicated team at Campus Recreation and Wellness (
CRW) as a Recreation Service Attendant! This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in supporting campus recreation facilities. You will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being of the campus community.
CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate entrance and monitor activities at the Main Student Rec Center and CRW at Health Sciences Campus
- Provide facility tours and check out equipment
- Assist with membership sales and locker rentals
- Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Support the planning and execution of special events and programming

| Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) |
Majors that may be a good fit but not limited to:
- Recreation and Park Management
- Hospitality Management
- Business Administration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must currently be an enrolled student at ECU
- Must be able to lift and manage a minimum of 60 lbs. Heavy lifting is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible work availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and sanctioned ECU breaks
- Must be available to work a minimum of 8 to 12 hours a week
- Obtain valid CPR and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire.
