General Information: The History Department at JMU seeks applications for a full-time Program Support Technician. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations while promoting a welcoming and professional environment for the department. Duties and Responsibilities: * Serve as the first point of contact for the History department office and main phone line. Provide accurate information and guidance to prospective students, visitors, students, faculty, and staff, directing inquiries to the appropriate resources as needed. Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students. Maintains the department calendar, manage incoming and outgoing mail, purchase office supplies as needed, and assist with departmental meetings, events, and special projects.
