Senior Accountant (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support one of our premier clients on a 6-month assignment assisting their accounting department. Key attributes for success include flexibility, eagerness to dive into the details, and a strong team-oriented approach.

This project is planned for 6 months, with the option to work fully remote. The client operates in the Central Time Zone, and those will be the required working hours for the project. The role is expected to require some overtime during the assignment. The pay rate is $45-$55/hour, depending on experience, and includes comprehensive benefits.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum experience level of Senior Accountant; Manager-level candidates are welcome if they are willing to remain hands-on and work at the detail level.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and hands-on accounting responsibilities.
• Strong general accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with fixed assets is a plus.
• Sage or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail or manufacturing environment preferred.
