Seeking a Coadjutant to conduct research in support of the Newark Public Safety Collaborative's (
NPSC) mission to democratize access to data and analysis. The position will obtain, evaluate, validate, and ground-truth place-based environmental feature data from large datasets and other sources. Responsibilities include extracting and integrating data from official databases, conducting
GIS-based research and analysis, assessing data quality and accuracy, resolving discrepancies across sources, and documenting findings to support NPSC's research and evaluation activities.
This is a grant funded position.

Candidate Requirements
* Master's degree in criminal justice, criminology, or a related field.
* Strong research and analytical skills, including experience working with large or complex datasets. |

The position requires experience with geographic information systems (
