Overview

Responsible for leading cross-functional programs that support business transformation, operational efficiency, strategic initiatives, and product development related to Treasury Management and Commercial Payments. Works independently to manage program execution, stakeholder alignment, and risk mitigation while serving as a subject matter expert for Treasury Management products and operational workflows. Applies advanced knowledge of program management methodologies and industry best practices to deliver measurable outcomes and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Serves as a mentor to junior program staff and contributes to the continuous improvement of program delivery practices. This role supports the ongoing development, enhancement, operational readiness, and growth of Treasury Management and Commercial Payments products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs that support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, business transformation, related to Treasury Management and Commercial Payments product initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with defined business goals.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure program alignment with organizational priorities and success metrics.
  • Apply program governance practices, tools, and reporting standards to monitor progress and ensure accountability.
  • Identify and address program risks, issues, and interdependencies across teams and functions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure cohesive and timely program execution.
  • Deliver program updates and performance insights to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Contribute to business case development and investment planning through data analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement and change readiness within program teams.
  • Mentor program managers and team leads to build delivery capability and leadership skills.
  • Support the refinement of program delivery methodologies and enterprise best practices.
  • Collaborate with enabling functions (e.g., finance, HR, operations, risk, compliance, and technology) to support program execution and business readiness.
  • Represent the program management function in cross-functional planning and capability-building initiatives.
  • Serve as a Treasury Management and Commercial Payments subject matter expert for enterprise initiatives, product enhancements, operational readiness activities, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Support product development, launch, scaling, and enhancement initiatives through collaboration with business, operations, technology, risk, and vendor partners.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant program management experience managing programs in a cross-functional environment.
  • 3+ years of Treasury Management sales, onboarding, servicing, product management, program management, or operational experience.
  • Significant experience supporting Treasury Management and Commercial Payments products, including ACH Origination, Positive Pay, Business Zelle, Remote Deposit Capture, and other related Treasury Management products and services.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Management operational workflows, including client onboarding, implementation, servicing, support processes, and program operations.
  • Experience supporting product launches, operational readiness activities, process optimization, and ongoing enhancement initiatives for Treasury Management and Commercial Payments programs. This includes the development and refinement of internal policies, procedures, program monitoring metrics, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to align program execution with organizational goals, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience with program budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience collaborating across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external partner organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Treasury Management, commercial/business banking payments, and related operational processes. Derived from the Treasury Management and Commercial Payments focus of the Program Manager III role.
  • Expert knowledge of stakeholder engagement and change management strategies to support adoption, operational readiness, and sustainment.
  • Advanced skill in using program analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet) to monitor performance and inform leadership decisions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Program Management, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Knowledge of or experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with business process transformation, operational scale initiatives, or organizational change management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and program management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or related platforms.
