Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. seeks Business Operations Manager in Durham, NC. **Telecommuting allowed for this position.**

Job description as advertised:Provide business, operational, and budget analysis in support of the global marketing team, Finance, and the company's growth. This role will partner with Finance and its primary responsibilities will include execution of budget planning and operations-with a focus on amounts and expense timing-while delivering business insights to the Marketing Leadership Team. An important objective of the role is budget and forecast accuracy. Manage and coordinate detailed, campaign-by-campaign budget and expense decision and tracking tools used by the Marketing Leadership Team to budget and forecast the monthly and quarterly timing of their campaign spending - this work presumes a fluency in accruals, expense recognition concepts, and other fundamental accounting practices. Using data analysis frameworks and approaches, partner with Finance, Marketing Analytics, and other stakeholders to identify, track, and optimize marketing spend timing accuracy and campaign ROI. Proactively identify process improvements that scale globally and that improve the customer service experience of marketing budget owners as they interface with the Marketing Operations team during monthly expense, forecasting, and budgeting projects. Play a critical path role in a team-wide effort to automate some management reporting using SQL and to move other management reporting into dashboards. Support the Finance, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Operations teams in data-driven special projects as needed. Supervise one employee.

Minimum Qualifications:The position requires a Master's degree in Quantitative Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in a related occupation. The position requires any amount of experience in the following:

  • Experience with marketing data analysis and budget operations and solving problems with data.
  • Experience studying and applying accounting principles in management and manipulation of large and complex corporate expense data.
  • Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot and SQL.
  • Experience building and maintaining KPI reporting dashboards and preparing annual budgets by analyzing large historical data sets using SQL and Excel.
  • Experience conducting A/B testing analyses to quantify impact of test and enhance A/B testing strategies.
  • Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Salary: $191,776.00 to $201,776.00 annually.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$104,300.00 - $183,500.00
