Now Hiring: Electronic Technician (Navigation Systems) - Direct Hire Location: Newington, NH Pay Rate: $65,000 - $80,000 per year Are you an experienced Electronic Technician with strong troubleshooting, networking, and navigation systems expertise? Join a professional maritime operations team where you'll work with advanced shipboard electronics, computer networks, radar systems, GPS technology, and automation controls while supporting critical offshore operations around the world. Job Duties Maintain shipboard navigation, communication, CCTV, safety, and automation control systems Troubleshoot and support shipboard computer networks while following cybersecurity standards Assist with maintenance of radar, GPS, ECDIS, and Dynamic Positioning systems Perform upgrades and repairs to electronic and computer systems Monitor and coordinate electronic maintenance activities during shipyard projects Manage equipment inventory and documentation Support offshore deployments for periods up to two months Collaborate with ship personnel, engineering teams, and equipment vendors Education Requirements Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Equivalent military training considered Experience Requirements 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining electronic equipment Experience with network administration and computer systems Experience with shipboard navigation systems preferred Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics Knowledge of RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 communication protocols preferred Security+ certification preferred GROL certification preferred (required after hire) Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Able to pass a physical examination for offshore deployment Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance Available for worldwide travel and extended sea assignments Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
