Security Armed Officer - Site Patrol and Reporting

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Digital Reporting in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspected theft, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with access control, incident documentation, and communication with store leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a valid firearms permit, preferred.
• Be familiar with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton use, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
