SUMA/Sequencing Team Lead

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor of the Product Company Rock Hill, the SUMA area Team Lead mission is to lead the sequencing team and sequencing activities within our Logistics warehouse for Rock Hill Product Company as we continue to strive for excellence. Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage SUMA activities and related procedures.
• Manage SUMA team members, ensuring employees are fairly treated and developed.
• Follow best practices and procedures for safely picking and packing material moving from the warehouse to production.
• Maintain accurate records of material picked according to FLEX.
• Communicate effectively with logistics team members.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of material handling procedures.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with inventory systems; BPCS, FLEX, and WMS preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
