Base Hourly Pay Range $38.52 $46.82 EXCELLENT CAREER OPPORTUNITY IN A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN THE POSITION The Administrative Technician performs a diverse range of occasionally confidential administrative, technical, and customer service functions that help departments operate eficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include preparing reports, correspondence, forms, and specialized documents; maintaining records, files, and databases; assisting with contracts, grants, invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative processes; and THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. They possess strong administrative and technical skills, communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. This individual demonstrates sound judgment, initiative, and a commitment to public service, with the ability to prepare clear and professional documents, maintain organized records, support complex projects, and foster positive relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and community partners. QUALIFICATIONS Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid Class C California drivers license with a satisfactory driving record or the ability to get from point to point for meetings, events and trainings. BENEFITS PACKAGE Leave Accruals: The City offers the option of a 4/10 or 9/80 alternative work schedule, twelve (12) paid holidays per year and generous leave accruals including: Vacation, Sick, and Personal Leave. Retirement: The City is a member of the San Bernardino County Employees Retirement Association (SBCERA) which is reciprocal with Cal PERS. The Citys retirement formula is 2% @ 55 with prior qualifying public service or effective January 1, 2013 the formula is 2.5% @ 67 for new participants.
