What You'll Do

SourceAmerica is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the Accounts Product team. This role will Lead and support a variety of functions/projects within the prime operations team. Responsibilities include operational oversight of prime contracts/subcontractors, managing special projects, documenting processes/procedures, and supporting data development and analysis across different channels.

How You Will Spend Your Day ...

  • Oversee prime contract and subcontract activities, including compliance, deliverables, funding, performance, and operational follow-through.
  • Serve as a trusted contact for federal customers and nonprofit agency partners to support strong communication, high satisfaction, and successful contract outcomes.
  • Identify contract risks, data discrepancies, operational issues, and competing business requirements; help lead practical solutions and preventive process improvements.
  • Manage project deliverables, special projects, reports, documentation, and cross-functional workstreams aligned to contract and business priorities.
  • Support budget, revenue, and invoice activities, including issue resolution, performance tracking, and fiscal year planning.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing to team members, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to improve processes, strengthen operations, and advance SourceAmerica's mission.
  • Travel as needed based on business requirements.

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $110,000 - $120,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Account Management, Contract Management.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in account management, products required.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of federal government procurement procedures, contract regulations, service costing, market pricing, quality control systems, or the AbilityOne program.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, deliverables, customer expectations, and operational risks with accuracy and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends or issues, and recommend business solutions that improve project outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, internal teams, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications ...

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex actions, conflicting priorities, and contract disputes. Provide customer service in complex project management situations.
  • Develop and maintain a successful relationship with key customers and business partners.
  • Ability to analyze performance/data, contract problems and present business solutions for project performance improvement.
  • Ability to develop and implement improved business processes and identify conflicts or issues with current processes.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Federal government procurement procedures, regulations, service costing, market pricing, quality control systems, and the AbilityOne program.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in demanding conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Act proactively and take the initiative to resolve business issues.
  • Able to work on multiple items at the same time.
  • Ability to learn and work with new business software and tools.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements. *Due to the travel requirements (15% to 20%) for this position the ideal candidate must be located near a major airport.
