Position Title: Operating Technician
Wage: $22.50 - $23.00/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am Are you looking for your next career opportunity? Operating Technician Responsibilities: - Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification - Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption production rate and material consumption - Inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up - Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Ensure part quality meets established standards - Perform housekeeping duties - Follow good manufacturing practices - Complete shift documentation/paperwork - Go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs - Follow established safety procedures - Wear appropriate personal protective equipment Requirements for Operating Technician: - One year manufacturing or related experience - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements - Ability to solve basic math problems - Ability to operate forklift - Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time - Ability to occasionally lift 10-50 lbs IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
