Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse Associate position available at a company in De Witt, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Process and complete small and large machine orders for customers. - Assist in receiving shipments, verify quantities and quality, and allocate products to proper locations using a fork truck. - Load and unload shipping containers, LTL trucks, and other shipments. - Use wood cutting tools (table saw, drills, etc.) to ensure proper packaging of whole goods shipments. - Occasionally operate overhead crane for loading/unloading trucks. - Perform light assembly of agricultural machines. - Maintain efficient fulfillment processes and procedures. - Ensure accuracy and quality of all outgoing shipments. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Warehouse Associate Requirements: - Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift. - Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. repetitively and 60-75 lbs. occasionally. - Ability to use hands and fingers to grab, pinch, and handle materials throughout the shift. - Ability to count accurately and pay close attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
