Position Title: Mail Handler
Wage: $16.00 - $17.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:45pm - 3:00am (Monday - Saturday) The Mail Handler position in Itasca, IL offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-volume mail processing environment. This role is key to ensuring efficient handling and distribution of mail, providing valuable experience in logistics and operational workflows. Apply now! Mail Handler Responsibilities: - Transfer mail from containers to trays and onto conveyor systems to facilitate processing - Stack and organize mail trays onto racks for efficient handling and distribution - Maintain pace with automated mail processing machines to meet productivity standards - Pull trays of mail for packaging and shipment preparation - Package mail and accurately place completed items onto pallets for transport - Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards - Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines diligently - Perform repetitive lifting, moving, and handling of mail and trays throughout the shift Requirements for Mail Handler: - Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 40 pounds - Capable of standing and walking for extended periods, including entire shifts - Ability to perform repetitive motions involving lifting, bending, reaching, and stacking - Prior warehouse, mail processing, or production experience preferred but not required - Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work efficiently within a team - Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity targets QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
