About the Opportunity

Aquent is partnering with a prominent fashion and entertainment brand renowned for its influential presence and captivating campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-moving social team, becoming an integral part of a high-profile fashion and entertainment campaign. This concentrated, two-week project, centered around a major campaign moment, offers approximately 20 hours per week with scheduled coverage that spans business hours, evenings, and weekends. You will be at the heart of real-time social conversation, where your authentic engagement and sharp insights will breathe life into the brand's personality. Your contributions will be crucial in identifying emerging trends, sparking viral opportunities, and cultivating a community that truly resonates with its audience.

What You'll Do



  • Lead real-time community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube during a major fashion and entertainment campaign.
  • Proactively and reactively engage with customers, fans, creators, and talent across owned and user-generated content.
  • Monitor high-volume social conversation to quickly identify emerging trends, cultural moments, and engagement opportunities.
  • Contribute to relevant conversations with timely, authentic, and brand-appropriate responses.
  • Identify standout creator content, fan moments, viral comments, and positive sentiment for amplification.
  • Maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice across all social interactions.
  • Rapidly assess tone, context, and sentiment to determine the most appropriate response.
  • Escalate sensitive conversations or emerging issues as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Social and Community teams to ensure seamless campaign coverage.
  • Surface meaningful community insights, trends, questions, and consumer feedback.
  • Support post-campaign reporting by identifying notable engagement, viral moments, sentiment trends, and key community insights.
  • Utilize social listening and community tools to uncover relevant posts, creators, conversations, and emerging opportunities.


Required Qualifications



  • 1+ year of hands-on experience managing social media or community engagement for a brand.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and engaging on behalf of a brand, extending beyond personal social accounts.
  • Exceptional social copywriting skills and the ability to quickly adapt to an established brand voice.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and the broader social landscape, including current trends, platform behaviors, and best practices.
  • Strong grasp of Gen Z culture and communication styles, with an intuitive sense of what makes brand engagement feel authentic.
  • Proven ability to work independently and confidently make day-to-day community decisions.
  • Capacity to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume, real-time environment.
  • Excellent judgment for evaluating sentiment and determining when conversation escalation is necessary.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple conversations simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-starter mentality-you readily identify opportunities and know how to engage.
  • Genuine interest in fashion, beauty, entertainment, pop culture, and digital communities.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience managing social media for a brand with a Gen Z and/or female-focused audience.
  • Previous experience owning a brand's social channel.
  • Prior work in a dedicated community management role.
  • Experience supporting major launches or live cultural moments.
  • Strong experience developing brand voice and social response guidelines.
  • Experience with social listening, publishing, or community management platforms (transferable experience with equivalent tools is valued).
