Associate Manufacturing Technician Location: Acton, MA Schedule: Weekend Days \| Friday - Sunday \| 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Weekend Nights \| Friday - Sunday \| 6:00 PM - 6:00AM Pay: $26.40 - $30.00 per hour We are seeking a mechanically inclined Associate Manufacturing Technician to support highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with advanced automation and technology. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot machine faults, clear stoppages, and support equipment repairs Monitor production processes using Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges Maintain material flow and ensure production schedules are met Generate work orders and identify opportunities for process improvements Support equipment validation, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives Follow GMP, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Maintain a clean and organized production environment Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work with automated equipment and computer-based systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic math skills and ability to read and follow documentation Experience with robotics, automated assembly, HMIs, cleanroom manufacturing, or medical device production is a plus Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift Frequent walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
