Are you a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge data science and critical business execution? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to spearhead the evaluation, optimization, and deployment of advanced fraud detection models within our expansive financial ecosystem. • **Implementation & Governance:** Lead the end-to-end deployment of fraud models into our robust fraud detection framework. This includes close collaboration with governance teams to navigate validation, documentation, and formal regulatory/internal approval processes.
  • **Technical Project Management:** Direct cross-functional roadmaps, integrating data science execution, infrastructure requirements, and rules engine updates to ensure seamless model integration and operational efficiency.
  • **Rules & Detection Strategy:** Partner with fraud operations and rule-building teams to effectively integrate model scores into active fraud rules and critical payment execution pathways.
  • **Stakeholder Alignment:** Serve as the central point of contact, fostering strong relationships between data science teams, external technology partners, governance bodies, and key business risk executives.

What You'll Bring

  • **Data Science Background:** Proven hands-on understanding of machine learning algorithms, model performance metrics (e.g., ROC-AUC, Precision/Recall, population stability index), and feature evaluation.
  • **Project & Program Management:** Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical deployments and model integration lifecycles within large organizations.
  • **Model Risk Management (MRM):** Direct experience navigating MRM compliance, governance frameworks, model validation, and approval processes within financial services.
  • **Analytics Experience:** Deep comfort analyzing large transaction and risk datasets to drive informed operational decision-making.

Bonus Points

  • **Domain Expertise:** Prior experience in fraud analytics, fraud rule development, payment transaction flows, or card issuer risk management.
