The Role

The Vice President of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing the company's global talent acquisition strategy to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role provides strategic leadership for all recruiting functions, workforce planning initiatives, employer branding, recruiting operations, diversity hiring programs, and talent acquisition technology. The VP partners closely with executive leadership, HR, and business leaders to ensure hiring strategies support the organization's growth objectives and long-term talent needs.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, labor market trends, talent risks, and hiring strategies.
  • Build and scale recruiting capabilities to support rapid growth and evolving business needs.
  • Establish hiring forecasts and workforce plans in partnership with business leaders and HR.


Recruiting Operations



  • Lead all aspects of recruiting including executive, corporate, technical, sales, and operational hiring.
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Develop data-driven hiring strategies to improve quality of hire, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and recruiter productivity.
  • Oversee recruiting budgets, agency/vendor management, and resource allocation.


Team Leadership



  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing recruiting teams across multiple regions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor recruiting leaders and team members to elevate organizational capability.


Talent Attraction & Employer Brand



  • Develop strategies to strengthen employer brand and increase market visibility.
  • Create innovative sourcing approaches to attract passive and diverse talent pools.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to enhance candidate engagement and employment branding initiatives.


Diversity, Equity & Inclusion



  • Drive inclusive hiring strategies that support the organization's diversity goals.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and establish programs designed to attract underrepresented talent.
  • Ensure equitable hiring practices throughout the recruiting lifecycle.


Technology & Innovation



  • Evaluate and implement recruiting technologies, AI solutions, CRM platforms, and automation tools to improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Leverage workforce analytics and recruiting data to guide business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously assess emerging talent acquisition trends, technologies, and best practices.


Stakeholder Partnership



  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Business Partners, Finance, and Learning & Development teams.
  • Present hiring results, workforce trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Influence organizational hiring decisions through market intelligence and talent insights.


Required Skills and Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including 5+ years leading enterprise recruiting functions.
  • Experience developing and executing global talent acquisition strategies.
  • Proven success leading recruiting organizations in high-growth or complex matrix environments.
  • Strong experience hiring across technical, sales, corporate, and executive functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting operations, workforce planning, and talent analytics.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders.


Preferred



  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience leading global recruiting teams.
  • Background in technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, or professional services organizations.
  • Expertise with ATS, CRM, AI-powered recruiting tools, and talent market intelligence platforms.
