What you'll do as a Sr Strategic Execution Manager:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale strategic programs that support McLane's long-term business objectives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive program roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align priorities and drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Establish performance measures, monitor progress, and communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address obstacles to successful execution.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analyze complex information, identify trends and critical insights, and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Influence decision-making across multiple organizational levels, even in environments where direct authority is not present.
  • Resolve competing priorities and facilitate collaboration to achieve enterprise-wide business outcomes.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Sr Strategic Execution Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Logistics, Technical Studies, or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree or willingness to pursue an advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or strategic initiatives.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience or 3+ years of consulting experience, preferably with a top-tier consulting organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of delivering results.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience with program management methodologies, strategic planning, and organizational transformation efforts.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as business needs require.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
