Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across various routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate 26ft truck to transport goods safely and efficiently. Your expertise in route driving, logistics cargo handling, and adherence to safety regulations will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate on local routes to deliver freight across multiple locations.
  • Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to verify safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries, report issues, and update delivery statuses.
  • Strictly follow all safety protocols for commercial truck driving, including manual handling procedures and load-securing techniques.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL A or B license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards governing commercial trucking operations.
  • Strong GPS navigation skills for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips.
  • Excellent manual handling skills for safe loading and unloading in various environments.
