Responsibilities
The Facilities Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of Laurel Heights Hospital. This position supports the Director of Plant Operations and oversees all non-clinical areas of the facility including maintenance, housekeeping, dietary, central supply, and various compliance-related functions tied to accreditation standards. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational certification preferred 2+ years of facilities, safety, or compliance experience (healthcare preferred) Strong knowledge of Joint Commission standards and EOC principles Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint navigation Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday) Flexibility required during drills, inspections, or construction events Physical Requirements: Ability to walk campus grounds, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Occasional standing, bending, and reaching during inspections or supply handling This position is key to the safety and operational success of Laurel Heights.
