Overview
Placement Type: Temp to Perm
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Lead Web Producer (4-7 years of experience) to own the day-to-day operation, delivery, and creative quality of our digital properties. This role blends hands-on web production with operational management and a strong creative eye. You will serve as the connective tissue between creative, marketing, and web engineering teams, ensuring our web assets-from core corporate sites to advisor web builds-are polished, compliant, and operating seamlessly. Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience and working cross-functionally across marketing, design, and web engineering, you will triage incoming requests, oversee website launches, maintain digital asset management, and ensure high standards of quality and brand alignment. What You'll Do:
- Web Content Operations & Advisor Launches
- Manage regular weekly website transitions and updates, leading the design and creation of polished web properties for financial advisors.
- Own day-to-day publishing, updates, and quality control across core corporate websites and resource hubs.
- Provide digital design expertise, ensuring proper asset management (aspect ratios, sizing, and image optimization across digital channels) to bridge print-focused design and digital execution.
- Maintain overall site hygiene: audit and fix broken links, outdated content, formatting issues ("wonky" layouts), SEO metadata, and accessibility standards.
- Web Intake & Project Management
- Manage incoming web requests end-to-end, from intake and prioritization through production, QA, and go-live.
- Triaging high-volume site updates and transition workflows while setting realistic timelines with internal stakeholders.
- Build project schedules and coordinate dependencies across design, content, web engineering, and marketing teams.
- Proactively identify capacity constraints or production risks and implement effective solutions.
Quality & Process Improvement:
- Perform rigorous QA to ensure web changes meet quality standards across visual appeal, functionality, responsive layout, form behavior, SEO, and accessibility prior to release.
- Maintain structured, repeatable web production and QA processes to improve delivery speed and site accuracy.
- Partner with Digital Experience, Content, and Web Engineering teams to streamline cross-functional workflows and remove bottlenecks.
- Team Leadership
- Oversee and mentor a web production contractor, assigning tasks, reviewing output, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Serve as the day-to-day operational lead for web production and act as the first point of contact for issues, coordinating with Web Engineering when technical intervention is needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 4-7 years in web production, digital content operations, or web project management. Experience in wealth management, financial services, or another highly regulated industry (healthcare, government, franchise/multi-location) is strongly preferred.
- Creative & Digital Asset Skills: A keen creative/design eye with a strong understanding of digital imagery, aspect ratios, file specifications, and digital asset management.
- CMS & Technical Fundamentals: Hands-on WordPress experience, including page builders, content management, publishing, and basic troubleshooting. HTML/CSS knowledge for minor fixes is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent project streams, manage stakeholder expectations, and keep projects moving in a fast-paced setting.
- Web Standards: Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and web QA.
- Work Style: High comfort level working fully remote with cross-functional, distributed teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within regulatory and compliance workflows.
- Familiarity with web analytics, SEO tools, and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Experience collaborating with external agencies or external development partners.
