Position Title: Senior Digital Solutions Analyst Location: Hybrid (2 days a week at Sprezzatura HQ, Arlington, VA) Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required) POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Digital Solutions Analyst to join our Delivery Intelligence, Value & Automation (DIVA) team supporting a large program in service of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, you will build and sustain the digital tools the program workforce and VA stakeholders use every day - applications, dashboards, and automations - and report on the value those tools deliver. This is a hands-on delivery role. Working with the Digital Innovation & Solutions Lead, you will turn needs from across the program into working solutions, then keep them reliable, adopted, and well documented. Alongside building, you will own the measurement side: instrumenting solutions so their impact can be shown through usage and producing the reporting that tells leadership and VA stakeholders what this work is worth. Success in this role looks like translating complex business requirements, developing with end-users in mind, and reporting impacts that leadership trusts. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports, with room to grow as the solutions portfolio expands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build - not just specify - reliable, scalable digital solutions that improve outcomes for Veterans, their families, and caregivers, while ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain the digital solutions program workforce and VA stakeholders rely on day to day - Power Apps applications, Power BI dashboards, Power Automate flows, and the supporting data sources behind them.
- Gather requirements from workstream leads, delivery teams, and VA stakeholders, and translate them into scoped, buildable solutions with clear acceptance criteria and realistic delivery timelines.
- Own solutions across their full lifecycle - prototype, release, enhancement, sustainment, and retirement - including defect resolution, user support, and maintainable documentation.
- Build and maintain the value and impact reporting that shows what the program's digital solutions deliver: adoption, utilization, effort saved, quality improvements, and outcomes advanced for Veterans, their families, and caregivers.
- Instrument measurement at the point of build - designing telemetry and data capture into solutions so impact is evidenced by real usage rather than reconstructed after the fact.
- Produce recurring program-level, executive, and contractual reporting deliverables in coordination with the program Reporting & Metrics group, ensuring accuracy, consistent metric definitions, and on-time delivery.
- Apply established Power Platform governance practices - environment and data source standards, naming, versioning, access control, and documentation - so solutions remain maintainable and transferable.
- Support intake and triage of new solution requests by assessing feasibility, effort, and fit against existing tooling, and recommending build, reuse, buy, or defer with transparent trade-offs.
- Work alongside the network of innovation and reporting stewards embedded across program workstreams to drive adoption - delivering training, office hours, and job aids, and capturing enhancement requests for the roadmap.
- Evaluate emerging tools, platform features, and automation techniques - including AI-assisted capabilities - through hands-on prototyping, and recommend adoption based on demonstrated results rather than projected ones.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, automation, and engineering resources across the DIVA team so solutions integrate cleanly program-wide.
- Present solution outcomes and impact findings to program leadership and VA stakeholders, with a focus on measurable results and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5-8 years of experience delivering digital solutions, business applications, or analytics products in an enterprise or federal technology environment
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building and sustaining low-code applications and dashboards on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse) or a comparable platform
- Strong data and analytics fundamentals, including data modeling, metric definition, report design, and data quality management
- Experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translating them into solutions that were delivered and adopted
- Experience producing recurring executive-facing reporting, including defining metrics and being accountable for accuracy and timeliness
- Working knowledge of the governance practices that keep low-code solutions maintainable - environment management, versioning, access control, and documentation
- Ability to work independently across multiple concurrent solutions, managing competing priorities and communicating status without close supervision
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across delivery, data, and technical teams in a matrixed environment
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or a comparable federal agency
- Experience defining and reporting on value realization, benefits, or return measures for digital tools
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power Query/M, DAX, or scripting (e.g., Python) for data preparation and automation
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or comparable delivery platforms as data sources for reporting
- Microsoft Power Platform certification (e.g., PL-100, PL-300, PL-400), Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with enterprise software license reporting and cost optimization
- Experience contributing to a community of practice, steward network, or similar matrixed adoption model
