Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 / Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL workflows, Snowflake, data ingestion, source-to-target mapping, data quality, performance optimization, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and problems and identify alternative solutions.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and business processes to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and define input and output requirements.
  • Gather and document data requirements, source-to-target mappings, data flows, and design specifications.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Develop and maintain Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
  • Ingest data from heterogeneous source systems, including flat files, APIs, relational databases, and mainframe extracts.
  • Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including stored procedures and packages.
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues, ETL job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
  • Support batch data loads using job scheduling and orchestration tools.
  • Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders within structured SDLC and change management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Systems Analyst designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • 8+ years of experience working with Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
  • 8+ years of experience ingesting data from multiple heterogeneous source systems into Oracle databases.
  • 8+ years of strong experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning of ETL-related queries.
  • 8+ years of experience with Snowflake, including data loading, schema design, and query performance optimization.
  • 8+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud Data Integration for cloud-based ETL/ELT development.
  • 8+ years of experience gathering data requirements, performing source-to-target mapping, and documenting data flow and design specifications.
  • 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production ETL pipelines.
  • 8+ years of experience with job scheduling/orchestration tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Informatica Scheduler.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Business Objects Universe design and/or maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a state government or large enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience working within formal SDLC and change management processes.
